Manufacturing

Our acoustic wall tiles feature a wood-look PVC laminate surface bonded to a polyester acoustic fiber core, with a pre-applied adhesive backing built in at the factory. Every batch is quality-checked before it ships to our US warehouses, so what arrives at your door matches what you see on this page.

Installation Guide

This tile is peel-and-stick — no adhesive, no drilling, and no tools required. Just peel the liner and press it onto the wall.

• Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and smooth before starting — the adhesive won't bond well to dust, texture, or fresh paint.
• Measure your space and sketch a layout before starting, working from one corner outward.
• Peel back the release liner and press the tile firmly onto the wall, starting from the top and smoothing downward to avoid air bubbles.
• Hold firm pressure across the tile for a few seconds, especially at the edges, to ensure a strong bond.

For best results, apply at room temperature (65-80°F) and avoid removing and repositioning once pressed — the adhesive bonds strongest on first contact.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about performance, installation, care and delivery.

How strong is the adhesive? Will it eventually fall off the wall?

Each tile comes with a high-tack adhesive layer pre-applied at the factory, designed for long-term wall mounting when installed on a clean, smooth, dry surface. For best results, press firmly across the entire tile for several seconds after placing it — this is what activates full contact and long-term hold. Avoid installing over dusty, textured, or freshly painted walls (paint needs to fully cure first), as poor surface contact is the most common cause of tiles loosening over time.

Can I remove these later? Will it damage my wall or leave residue?

These tiles are easier to remove than panels installed with construction adhesive, but because the backing is a genuine adhesive (not a temporary/repositionable one), removal may still pull some paint or leave adhesive residue on the wall, especially after long-term installation. We recommend this product for a wall you're happy to commit to for the medium-to-long term, and suggest checking your lease terms first if you're renting.

What kind of wall surface does this work on?

These tiles bond best to smooth, clean, dry, flat surfaces — such as painted drywall, plaster, or smooth plywood. They are not recommended for heavily textured walls (like stucco or popcorn ceilings texture), wallpaper, unfinished brick, or unsealed concrete, as the adhesive won't make full contact on uneven surfaces.

These are small tiles — will the seams be visible? Is it hard to line them up?

Each tile measures 11.8" x 23.6" (30 x 60 cm), and they're designed to align edge-to-edge along the vertical slat lines, so seams blend naturally into the wood grain pattern rather than standing out. We recommend starting from a level reference line (like a laser level or a straight edge) and working outward, and dry-fitting your layout before peeling any liners, so you can adjust spacing before it's permanent.

Does this actually absorb sound, or is "acoustic" just for looks?

Yes — each tile has a polyester acoustic fiber core behind the wood-look surface, which absorbs sound waves and reduces echo and reverberation in the room. Keep in mind this improves how a room sounds (less echo), it does not block or soundproof noise coming from another room.

Can I install these in a bathroom or kitchen?

We don't recommend it for areas with direct water exposure or high humidity, like inside a shower or directly above a stove. While the PVC laminate surface itself resists moisture better than solid wood, the adhesive backing can lose its grip in consistently damp conditions. A dry powder room or a kitchen accent wall away from direct splash zones is generally fine.

How do I clean these, and will the grooves collect dust?

Light dust in the felt-textured grooves is normal over time. Use a vacuum with a brush attachment or compressed air to clear the grooves, and a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth for the surface. Avoid soaking the tiles, as prolonged moisture can weaken the adhesive.
